Cable TV and 2 conferences, YWCA annual kickoff, domestic violence Southwest Women Working Together: Monica was trained in an emergency shelter from Southwest Women, an organization that provides shelter (Amanda House) for women and children. The organization works with the southwest police station and hospitals, when a woman needs to be escorted to the shelter. An emergency worker is paged to come to the location of the victim. Provided speakers from various services to aid in domestic violence victims and their children, from a legal and medical position.
